All products are packed in compostable containers, including the labels. Unfortunately, the moisture-wicking pads are not, and those have to be thrown away. As much as I would like to not include those, they dramatically improve the shelf life of the greens and mushrooms in the containers.
Delivery Area
In the spirit of keeping things local and with the mushrooms’ and greens’ aversion to long-distance travel, all orders are only for local delivery. The delivery area that is covered by the $6 fee is a 10-mile radius around Monroe Community College. If you are unsure if your delivery address falls within this area, feel free to reach out.
I’m currently working to arrange a specific and central pick-up locations for set days and times. However, until I have that arranged feel free to select pick up as the shipping option in the checkout process. Then I’ll reach out to you via email once I receive the order to work out an agreeable location and time for you to pick up your order.
All orders will be fulfilled as quickly as possible. As much as I try to keep all available items in stock and ready for delivery, I’m still at the mercy of the growing speed of the plants. So there may be times that they fall behind and there could be a delay in my ability to deliver certain items in your order. Once I receive your order I will reach out to arrange the delivery or pick up and I’ll also communicate if there are some items that aren’t ready and when they will be available. If you need items by a specific date and they aren’t going to be available in time I’ll be happy to substitute them for another comparable available item.
